ANABEL’S CLEANING SERVICE TERMS AND CONDITIONS
By using this site, booking a cleaning, or making a payment through our systems, you agree that you have read, understand, and will abide by these terms and conditions.
Reschedule or Cancel– Service reliability is extremely important. We will often turn down business rather than disrupt a regularly scheduled customer. In exchange we must request that you give us advance notice before 5 PM the day before your scheduled cleaning (Monday clients must call before 4:30 PM on the previous Friday.) You will be charged $50 if changes to your schedule are made after 5 PM the day before your scheduled cleaning to cover staffing costs. (Emergency situations will be considered on an individual basis.) Our business number, (815) 623-2964, and email; firstname.lastname@example.org are always available to you. If the team arrives at your home and you forgot to leave the door open, leave a key or the team needs to leave without cleaning for any reason, you will be charged a $50.00 late cancelation/lockout fee. If the cleaning technicians must wait until someone is able to unlock the door or provide a form of access, there is an additional fee of $30.00. Our employees are paid by the hour and this fee is necessary to cover their cost. We are happy to hold your house key and/or alarm codes to prevent accidental lockouts.
Keys and Alarm Systems – Most of our customers provide us with a key to their home. To ensure the security of your key, we do not mark them with your name or address, but rather a secure code number. Your key is stored in a locked key safe in our office. We take your key out of the key safe “Only” on your cleaning day. You could also provide a garage code or a door code for the cleaning technicians to access your home instead of a key, if preferred.
Alarm Systems – If you have an alarm system, you can do one of the following:
- You can leave your alarm system off on the day of your scheduled cleaning.
- You can provide a “guest” code for our staff to use.
Arrival Time – Your home will be cleaned between the hours of 8 am. and 5:30 pm. on your scheduled day. We can guarantee a specific day of the week for all your scheduled cleanings but not a specific or set time of arrival. If for any reason you require a more precise time of arrival, we will happily work with you to find a convenient solution. Our arrival times are set as a 2 hour arrival window, and the cleaning technicians can arrive anywhere in that time frame.
Ice and Snow – If you have a scheduled cleaning on a day in which our local schools have been canceled due to ice, snow or other weather conditions, there’s a good chance we will be closed for the day, also. If possible and subject to availability, we try to anticipate closures and reschedule at your convenience. In the event of ice or snow, which does not lead to a closure, we always appreciate a shoveled and salted path to your front door. If the work vehicle is unable to make it up the driveway due to ice or snow, the cleaning technicians will be unable to perform the cleaning.
Heat – In the summer months, please be sure to keep your home at a comfortable temperature while the cleaning technicians are in your home. Subject to our discretion, if the home is too warm the cleaning technicians will be unable to complete the cleaning.
Holiday Schedule – If your cleaning falls on “Federal Holidays” (New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day). We will reschedule your cleaning for another day. If permitting, that same week of your original cleaning day, if not, then your cleaning will be scheduled for the following week.
Payments – Payments are due at the time of cleaning. We can keep a credit/debit card on file for your convenience. Your credit/debit card will be charged after service has been rendered. Payments may also be made on our website at www.anabelscleaning.com/payment. We do require a credit/debit card when booking your appointment to ensure your payment is received on time, however the day of your cleaning you can pay with cash or a check instead, if preferred. Clients who choose to pay with cash or check we ask that they leave the cash or check in a particular place in their home easily accessible to the cleaning technicians (Envelopes for payment will be provided.) There is a $37 NSF fee for any returned checks.
Safety – Should any member of your household require the use of syringes or other medical supplies, please ensure that they are disposed of safely. Please be sure that any confidential or potentially illegal documents or substances are put away before our cleaning team arrives. If there are any guns or weapons in the home, we ask that they be put away and secured on the day of the scheduled cleaning.
Pets – Your pets are members of your family and we respect that. However, if your pet is afraid of vacuums, territorial, or overly friendly and will not allow us to do our work, we kindly ask you to secure your pet in a crate or room that the cleaning team will not enter. We reserve the right to refuse service on the scheduled date if a pet in the home is considered dangerous. We will not pick up pet droppings. This includes cleaning of litter boxes, dog kennels or potential accidents your pets may have.
Guarantee – Our company does offer a 100% guarantee on all our cleaning services. Any necessary adjustments must be reported to our office within 24 hours of the cleaning date for resolution by one of our cleaning staff members. We are happy to fix any areas that may be necessary, however if a re-clean is denied, we are unable to provide a refund. It is advantageous to have your home picked up as much as possible, doing so will allow our staff to get to all areas of your home allowing us to provide you with the best cleaning possible.
Contact – We do require at least one phone number and an email address in the event we need to contact one of our customers, however it is beneficial to have multiple contact options.
Termination of Cleaning Relationship – Service agreements may be cancelled at any time and for any reason. If we are in possession of your key, it will be returned within seven (7) days. Any records containing your alarm codes will be destroyed within 24 hours.
